Option to Group Items in Avatar Creator

I find the avatar creator a bit hard to use because I have a lot of items and scrolling though all the pages to find the one I want is starting to feel very slow and not very fun. So here's an idea: Group color variations of the same item!

If someone owns more than one color of an item, a color selection would appear when the person equips the item.

Making colours smarter is definitely on my list!
However, there's already so many items that it would require a massive amount of work and it has such a small payoff compared to other features already in progress it's not an undertaking I can begin any time in the near future.

Well avatar creation is the main feature on most avatar community sites, so I do think that anything that improves avatar creation will have a big impact. But I understand that it's a lot of work.

I think it's always a chicken/egg kind of thing. The direction is towards expanding Windlyn's (including avis') abilities and features right now. The return on time investment will be much greater in big picture terms. It's not that anyone thinks it's a bad suggestion (it is on the list), but I think we should trust Diana's expertise and judgement--she's done pretty well so far! We just have to be a little patient. (Plans are in motion to recruit some help.)
