Paying with equipped event currency

Hey Di,

is it intended that you can use event currency like the medallions for payments even if you have them currently equipped?

For example, I had 25 medallions of which one was equipped at my current avatar. I bought the raven outfit for 25 medallions. Now I don't have a single medallion, even though my saved avatar would suggest that I do.

Yeah, it's expensive to resave the avatar image so I try to avoid updating it all the time. If you save it again manually, or (I think I finished this) visit it in your inventory you shouldn't have a medallion anymore.

If that's the case, I don't see a problem with letting the user wear the items, if you know one let me know, but their payment is kind of like they can never change their avatar or the item will go away.

Okay, I was just wondering whether it might have been a bug. Usually, sites prevent you from trading or giving away items you are currently using. I was honestly surprised to find that all my medallions were gone because I expected the system to prevent me from using the last one.

I guess I'll be more careful next time.

I see! I didn't think about maybe you don't want to save some of the item currency, and you spend it on accident. I'll try to remember to fix that next time!

I got extra medallions also to use as a necklace. I found out with the pump coins that equipped currency disappears once you change your avatar if you used it to purchase an item.
