Hey there, I just signed up and I'm excited to explore the site! :3

I got my start with avatar sites with Gaia back in 2005, and have since been on/ am currently on Solia, Ernya (I wasn't very active), RoyalCreed, Sapherna, Voltra, and Lasria. I love art, music, anime, manga, volunteering, and watching Let's Plays on YouTube. :3

I had been thinking about volunteering again lately. (Mixed experiences in the past.) Do you have any advice to share?

Hmm, the only advice that I can think of is to sign up for opportunities that align with your interests, or that you think will benefit you. Personally, I hate littering, so I like to sign up for trash clean-up volunteering or I'll even go around my neighborhood to clean up trash on my own. Aside from that, my friend and I are artists, so we've recently volunteered at art markets and an anime convention not only to get the experience, but to network and get some insight on how to get ourselves in the vendor/ con field. :3 I've also helped distribute food to lower-income families a few years ago. While it was emotional, it was very fulfilling.

Thanks for the tips! I guess that's what I struggle with--some activities were fulfilling and others seemed like a waste of time (like the organizer were doing us volunteers a favor). Really makes it a bad experience...

Go fishing every 8 hours for a non shop item, lots of backgrounds & the rare blue ursus bear egg!

If you play on my game threads I will substitute past items for big dice rolls instead of feathers.
There are Members who sell past items so checkout their shops.

I love that you volunteer to improve your community. like to volunteer at things I find are helpful & productive or supportive of the local community. I am fine with letting others organize & I just fit in to help out.
