Hello there, I'm just Windlyn's resident cryptid. I'm on multitude other sites, so the whole welcome post thing isn't new to me X'P
In any case, I'm the local Cryptid. Don't mind me, I just...lurk. A lot. Usually only pop in after very long absences XP

Welcome to Windlyn!
I am pasting the intro I just did for our other newbie friend because it sums everything up~
You can check out the newbie support thread on the forums page for help but here is a quick summation:
Fishing is every 8 hours ( under the game tab) those items can be requested in the questing & some items are rare.
Quest every 12 hours but my recommendation is don't use the past items.
Lianna has a great deal for a grab bag for $250 feathers which sometimes have very rare items.
Check out my charity in my signature & also my game threads.
Links in the signature only appear on the persons first post on a page.
Double posting gives you nothing, we are encouraged to carry on a conversation & every one is very friendly!
Buy from the lazarus shop first when there are items as they don't last.
There are more shops then the drop down menu so check them all out. My favorite is the secret garden shop.
If you hatch your first pet let me know & I will gift you an immortality potion to help celebrate!

Hey Cryptid, welcome. Nice avi you got there.
Aside from lurking, you can earn Feathers by playing games and posting in forums (I tend to be in the Play Room forum playing forum games).
Fishing is alright too, even if it has a long cooldown.

Playing games helps you to keep feather currency if you don't want to post a conversation, also the game threads are often just one word and that gets you feathers.
Are you like the Loch Ness Monster, ogapoga or Sasquatch? Or have you some other mythical name ?
