Our Kitty would go outside and hunt but she'd always meow to come back in.

We have the knights tunic, which, from what I understand, falls under the "butt cape" domain.

The knight's tunic is a long vest/tailcoat
So while the tail of the tunic is similar to a butt cape, it's not a butt cape
