livestream is more of like a gaming thing I believe? but there's also twitch for that

I watch cat livestreams on livestream.
Twitch is more for gaming, and I think livestream is just everything, art, cats, etc.

I used to watch the Neko Atsume streams on NicoNicoDouga, they're so cute!

Basically this woman lives in Canada and she works for a No kill shelter.
Anyways, they bring cats in who are either pregnant, ferals, abandoned and nurse them back to health
so they can be adopted. It's common for pregnant cats to be abandoned.
So those are the kind of cat livestreams I watch. So basically Foster mom's taking care of cats+kittens to ready them for adoption.

someone came by work yesterday and she showed us photos of the cats she helps takes care before they are adopted out - they were so very cute.

It's not surprising since many people foster cats and get them ready for adoption to be adopted into loving homes. Though they have to know some medical stuff in order to do it
since there are times when kittens get very sick and need medical attention.

Other day one of the kittens on the livestream I watched had to be rushed to the emergency room.
He became very dehydrated and nearly died. But thankfully one of the chatters who is also a foster parent sent a message to the foster mom.

And then the mom cat became very sick to the point she was having heart failure frequently.
She seems to be doing a lot better. But they are uncertain if the 24 hour flu virus she and the kittens have stressed out her heart. Or if she has a heart condition that is rare or if it's hereditary. The Mom use to be feral. But then she showed improvement of social skills.

oh my gosh, I had no clue there was so much involved with cats. The cat we had basically took care of herself and I don't recall her ever being sick...she died very old. Maybe it was the country living that kept her healthy.
