Intro:
You enter Windlyn and look around tentatively not quite sure where to begin. Your eyes are drawn to brilliant colored wild flowers that surround a tiny cottage nestled under the limbs of a huge old oak tree. You walk the cobble stones toward the green door of the cottage, a bunny hops across your path, while bees buzz by, busily landing delicately on the flowers and you hear the chirping of birds that seem to be welcoming you. You swear you hear little whispers calling to you, "pick me, pick me"... and in fact they are!

First step: As a welcome gift, choose one :

disclaimer: items may be added or removed depending on availability. You can ask for a particular color but it may not mean we will have it.

You should PM Lemon or Gizzie (Lemon is on more) and we can verify your achievements. Please post which item you are wanting for which category.

Let us know if you would rather have feathers instead of the listed item. Feathers will most likely come from Gizzie's charity mule Hugs and Kisses and items for the present from Lemon.

Main member accounts can play only - it is not per accounts, please do not play your mules on this thread since many of these items are one time event items or from the Lazarus shop and can not be replaced and are intended for new members who have not had the opportunity to get the items. There are many members with past items for sale so please check out their yard sale threads.

The challenges are incentives for having new members experience all of Windlyn. If you have difficulty with Pm's or making a thread etc then please ask for help. Follow TOS for Windlyn and with regards to posting counts and thread page counts please come by them honestly so that someone posts between your posts. Also, conversation for your posting and page count is encouraged and spamming for the counts is discouraged. The purpose of the page and posting count tasks is to get people involved in Windlyn and to continue involvement over time.

This thread is open to older members for anniversary and birthday celebrations, for befriending 5+ members, and you have the opportunity for receiving recognition for thread page counts of 100 to 500 and/or when you reach posting counts of 1000, 2000, 3000 etc or if you make a new thread or post a sample of your artwork or other talents or contribute something positive to Windlyn.
There are no retroactive awards given and you can only receive one of each type of item not one of each color).

Step two: You open the cottage door and are greeted by a cheery hello from Gizzie and Lemon, the proprietors of the cottage charity shop. If you PM Lemon they will hand you a welcome basket. Choose a basket:
