Yep, some foods have to be eaten fresh or they lose appeal... soggy cold fries, yeah, those are rough.

It's always best to roll with things and not assume the worst first. I believe most people are genuinely nice. Sure there are evil people out there, but the overwhelming majority are not--especially those that love you.

Why are you stressed? Other than perhaps an egg hunt, it's always been pretty low-key for our family day of -- (dress nicely and have a good meal).
