Re: Best Poem Ever

Anyone can take a shit on a canvas nowadays and there will still be someone who praises it and considers it art because it is "subjective" and "open to interpretation".

Re: Lemon's drop-inn (stop by and enjoy the moment)

Oh my gosh - I LOVE borscht! Stew is a similar poor man's food - cheap cuts of meat boiled for a longtime and throw in what you have for veggies...make some dumplings if you have no bread or they use to dip the stale bread in the soup or stew. As much as we didn't have much when I was a child we st...

Kalashnikov

I'm thinking of taking this game a step up and have users find a connection between 2 random words posted by the user before them.

Re: Balcangrad

I have to wait for it to heal before we can discuss therapy options. I still have function, but it is limited. I have had physical therapy in the past after a boxer's fracture. Tens is the electricity, right? I have one of the boxes somewhere in the house but I've been using it for a..."differe...

Re: Reaper's Graveyard

Potty training? If praise doesn't work, try bribery! ;) Other than that it will just take time... Bribery isn't the best idea because you don't want to condition kids to expect rewards for doing something so mundane. I think encouragement and maybe an example are the best way to go. If he's afraid,...

Re: I don't like my options.

galled: I'm pretty sure it's going to come down to Trump and Clinton in the finals. I agree that part of Trump's appeal is how he isn't afriad to offend anyone. People are fed up with walking on eggshells and this so-called "political correctness". Sure some of the things he says are blata...

I don't like my options.

I am clearly less than thrilled with the current presidential candidates. The primaries in my state happened yesterday with Trump in the lead for Republicans (followed by Kasich) and Clinton for the democrats. What people don't realize is that decisions are not the president's alone to make. It pass...

Re: Hello there

Fresh meat.

Nice to meet you, I'm Mihailo.

Turkey is nice, very lean. It can get kind of dry. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

Good morning friends (or whatever part of the day it is in your area)

How is everyone doing today? Thought I'd check in with the site since I have a little more spare time now.

Re: Lemon's drop-inn (stop by and enjoy the moment)

When there was hunger in my country we had to combine leftovers into one big gross food conglomerate because there really wasn't another option. I think that is why borscht became popular - it can be made with so many different ingredients - there is not just one recipe. I don't think many people en...

Re: Balcangrad

Well this time I fell from a ladder and instinctively reached out my hands to break the fall. I have some bruising in other places but not too bad. My friend yelled out "I THINK WE BROKE MIHAILO" and drove me to the emergency room. Need to be careful with the thumbs. They are responsible f...

Re: Balcangrad

Thank you. How did your accident come about?

I'm injury prone. I've had sprains, fractures, a dislocation once...that one was excruciating. The doctor literally pushed my shoulder into place.

Re: Balcangrad

I missed you guys. It's classified as a grade 2 sprain, meaning a partially torn ligament. I don't need surgery but I have to wear a splint for a couple of weeks. And my wrist will be very weak when I remove it since muscles atrophy when they aren't in use. So I have to resort to getting lecture not...
