Re: Balcangrad

I mean, you can legally wear an outfit that your ass eats up, but then you can't act surprised when I tell you you're a slutbag. "I'm allowed to dress how I want and you have no right to judge it". You put yourself out there to be judged. I'm too drunk to get into a serious debate right now.

Re: Balcangrad

You have the right to wear whatever the hell you want, but I have the right to criticize it.

Watching UEFA Euro championship. Right now, no team is impressing me. But I guess as it comes nearer to finals it will be more intense. Did anyone else catch the German coach's scratch and sniff?

Re: Discussion: Voting-obligation or a choice?

Thank you. *bows* On a related note... Bernie Sanders supporters are upset because he lost the democratic primaries...meanwhile instead of voting for him they just made posts on social media about "feeling the Bern" and later used the excuse of "the system is rigged". His support...

Re: Balcangrad

...pretty much a reiteration of what I said. Seat messaging occurs on the flight exclusively, so it could easily be monitored and controlled if things got out of hand (your seat number is included in the chat). I doubt there is any real danger as names, photos, or any personal information is not ava...

Re: Discussion: Voting-obligation or a choice?

Voting exists to give people a voice, and it should absolutely be encouraged. For centuries, there have been kings, dictators, dynasties, and the like whose power was inherited or taken by force while common people had no say. Now your desires, beliefs, morals, opinions can be taken into considerati...

Re: Excitement equals jitterbugs

As far as interview tips go... First off, you are absolutely right when you say not to mention summer job. Most places look for consistency and they hate having to replace people every couple of months. List your current availability and when you have other plans, negotiate with them to get a more f...

Re: Needing Book Recommendations!

I like classics, particularly Russian classics. Read "A Hero of Our Time" by Mikhail Lermontov. It is very psychological but there is action also which keeps your attention.

Re: Balcangrad

That's excessive. Her outfit was not obscene. She had on a full-length sweater and high socks and her ass was covered. She even offered to cover herself with a blanket. Don't try to make this about sexism. It was an overreaction, yes, but I doubt it stemmed from sexism. On my flights I don't really ...

Re: Balcangrad

I believe there are circumstances where you have to put aside your personal fashion choices. Like in a business setting, you don't go to model your outfit, you discuss what needs to be done. it needs to be more lax so people can be comfortable instead of in stiff, formal attire, but you really need ...

Re: Howdy!

If you have to refer to a guide to be a nice person, you're not a good exemplar.

We are censoring "hell" now? Maybe it's time to navigate back to the pillow fight thread.

I get that you're defensive of your chara kin or whatever but I'd hate to see how you handle other situations if THAT struck you as rude.

Re: Balcangrad

We have come to associate articles of clothing with a given sex..but that was a human decision. Once a decision like that is ingrained in society, it is difficult to reverse. It makes no difference to me what a person chooses to wear with the exception of settings that require a sense of professiona...

Re: I'd eat that dog.

I own a cat. To answer your question, I would not eat my own cat. Not because of any personal moral reasons, but because I currently value him more as my pet than my meal. It's my priority. However if offered cat meat in general, I wouldn't turn it down if I wanted to eat it. I wouldn't try to forbi...
