OK, another idea:

Check the settings for Notify when Mentioned in a post.
================================================
1. Click the Account button under your personal menu under your main AVI on the upper right side of any page.

2. Click the Board Preferences tab.

3. Make sure Yes is selected next to the Notify when Mentioned in a post line.
