Vanishing posts with messed up fimg

If I include at least two images in my post with fimg, and mess up the closing tag in one of them, then if I try to preview or submit the post, it will remove all the text that I have written and display the message "Your message contains too few characters."

Fimg isn't one of the bbcode options in the toolbar. My guess is although it may work in some instances, it really isn't supported by phpbb.

That said your close tag is img instead of fimg.

Yeah that's what I meant. If you mess up one tag (e.g. by using img instead of fimg or simply by mis-spelling it), it will not just fail to display the image, but remove everything you might have written into the text box.

This happened to me with rather long posts before and it can be pretty frustrating to have to type everything again, just because you messed up a tag.

Ah. When things mess up for me, I can usually click the back button on Chrome and all of my typing re-appears again. I don't know what happens with other browsers, but it's worth a try.

But it would still be nice if the site didn't eat my whole post to begin with. xD
