I think the problem with applying to schools where students can work is there are too many applicants. Museums seems to have an overabundance of senior volunteers, so that's probably out. What comes to mind are business that deal with commercial art (advertising, marketing, production companies, etc.). The people who take the admin jobs are usually looking to get a foot in the door to move up, so there's high turnover, but not because the job sucks if that makes sense.

So glad the dress is "on the mend!"

And yes, I put my costume together yesterday and it doesn't look too bad, so I'm glad it worked out. ^^ Just needed to freak out before seeing the light, I guess. xD;
