I didn't know that about licorice & I love black licorice flavor so much! But there are some salty licorice, not just sweet, like twizzlers are sweet which sometimes seems plasticky to me. Licorice salt water taffy is good.
Licorice ice cream the best.

Anise flavoring is like licorice. I don't drink alcohol much but I love the licorice flavored liquors like Absinthe, Pernod, ouzo, and liquors like rakı , arak , pastis and sambuca

I'll have to make a mental note about that.lol my laptop gave out back in January and my previous one is out of power, since my charger for that one got busted and I never got around to replacing/fixing it. It's so weird going on here on a mobile browser
