The lady who hit my car is paying for it through her insurance. Enterprise pisses me off because they wont lend be a car thought Geico set me up with one already. I had to return it because im under 21 and on liability. I have to use a cab to get to work.

Enterprise shouldn't have rented the car out if you have to be at least 21 in the first place. That's unprofessional on their end.

How long is the car going to be in the shop?

Talk to the insurance company to make sure they pay for your cab rides.

They won't do anything. They just said, "sorry for the inconvenience" They said that it was the rental car place's fault, and they just apologized.

What can a person do who is under 21? Drink and drive? It is more necessary to have rental cars out to people of 18 and older. That's when people go to college, have their full license, start to be independent.

That's good.

While there ARE rental car places that will rent to 18 year olds and older, there isn't any in our state.

The reason is because rental car companies don't like young drivers. They want to rent to people with several years of driving under their belt.

I looked this up last night when looking up why places like Enterprise wont rent to people 18-20.

Basically, they're scared that their car would get in a wreck and young adults 18-20 year olds seem like the ones they're afraid of.

I wonder if the rental place would have allowed one of your parents to have signed the agreement (is the insurance under your parents still?) and put you on a s a secondary driver - or if that is not allowed period if you are under 21?

Well, sounds like they are compensating you and that is a good thing, and at least she confessed to the crime. Just sorry that you had to have it happen to you at all and glad you are safe.
