It would be a challenge for Mr. Clean for "Mr Clean gets rid of dirt & grease & cleans in just a minute" ... in your case maybe all day.

galled wrote:That's good! And it's good to feel uncomfortable to a certain level (keeps you aware). There were insane germophobes before COVID (and there always will be), but the number of people masked up, gloved up, with safety glasses, body covered virtually completely I see out in public these days is quite remarkable. I'm glad you're not like that!

I always been a germophobe myself, but I've done OK so far in my life without all of the extra extras and don't see the need for them now (of course before we knew what we know about COVID it was different situation). The basic remove yourself from anyone coughing or sneezing and/or who say they're feeling funky, don't get too close to strangers (a good all-around habit anyway), and as lemon said don't touch your face unless you've washed your hands first seems to cover most of it for me. Everyone is different of course and if your job requires you to see sick people and such I would imagine changes the equation.

Are you feeling better today?

I used to be a huge germophobe when I was younger. My mom almost put me in counseling for it, lol. As for the patients, yeah, a lot of them are always coughing, sneezing, or putting their fingers in their mouths (like to show me their problem areas or to remove their dentures, and then proceed to touch things). Some will blow their noses in front of me or leave their used tissues on my ledge. I could go on. But yeah, it feels gross here sometimes. = =;

I do feel better, thank you. :3
