I want to go home so bad and lock myself in my room.

I don't want to come out.

Oh no! That doesn't sound like you are having a very good day!

I feel that way when I make a mistake at work or am feeling sick. ugh.

Hopefully your work day will be over soon and you can go home?

I hope something comes along to brighten your day & change your perspective.

I'm not in a good mental state today and haven't been lately, tbh (despite all of the good things that have been happening). I just need to be alone.

Only 3 more hours to go. |:

I hope being home has helped you to reset. I get over stimulated sometimes by work & things going on ...even good things. I'm sure you have things you do to refocus yourself. Even a nap!

Just watched an interview on Mel Robbins & her "5,4,3,2,1, do it" tactic to getting yourself out of a slump & getting things done. I'm going to have to look into her & her book.

Eat a good breakfast ... it helps with the mood later. Breakfast is not really a meal I enjoy so I have to work at making myself eat.

I'm going to look up this interview and see what she says. Hopefully I can get some good tips out of it.

I love breakfast, but I don't give myself time to eat in the morning, so I usually skip out. When you have to eat breakfast, what kind of foods do you like?

I actually hate breakfast. I'd prefer to eat lunch or left over dinner for breakfast.

Otherwise I am making myself eat scrambled egg, sometimes with a little ham or bacon with a half a ciabatta bun or slice of sourdough toast. I stopped eating cereal as it gave me issues. Can't eat oatmeal as allergy problems... if I could I'd eat soup.

If you can eat cheese then it tastes good with melted cheese on it as well.

I try not to eat bacon very often so I buy the precooked kind & then cut it into small pieces, heat it in the frying pan then scramble the egg into it. Sometimes I will melt some cheddar jack cheese over it but I try to stay away from cheese. It's like a mini omelet & it is incredibly fast to make.

If you like spice the thinly chop some pickled jalapeno peppers into the scrambled egg mixture.
If you have left over tri tip or steak chop some of that into scrambled egg for an extra protein boost.

I suppose you could do egg whites or duck eggs if you are allergic to chicken eggs.

Vegans don't eat eggs but fowl produce them regardless of whether they are fertilized or not, so I don't feel like I am killing an animal to eat eggs. Plus chickens will lay them all over & forget about them if they are allowed to roam.

Otherwise if I have soup I just heat up a bowl & eat that.

What is your breakfast go to?

I enjoyed reading all of that. Omg, those omelet ideas sound so good. I made bacon, egg, and cheese omelets for me and my sister last month, as well as tomato and spinach omelets.

I don't eat breakfast that often, but when I do I like eggs and toast. Eggs are my favorite. I also really love breakfast sandwiches.
