With the students being on break there isn't much to do. I don't mind the downtime, especially after having to cold-call 150+ patients last week to "stay busy," but man. All this time I'm wasting at my desk could be time spent doing things at home, like catching up on cleaning and errands, or working on my art for submissions.

Are you working longer because of the holidays, or did you ask for more hours and they scheduled you to work more this week? Will this be your schedule from now on? :'O

There are multiple maintenance workers here, and the constant sound of their tools, footsteps, and the elevator are stressing me ouutttt. @-@ *is easily overstimulated*

We usually have someone off on vacation between Christmas & New Years but on top of that my bosses son died Christmas day so she is on bereavement leave.

I hope your work day was quieter today Arc.

I definitely had some odd people in today...one guy I saw go into the bushes & pee! I went & washed my hands, because I touched some of the things he had touched. ugh.

Ohmaigawd Lemon, talk about unhygienic :embarassed:

I'd sanitize the entire area with Lysol or Dettol... hopefully there's no bad scent too around the bush area, good fertilizer though xD-//smacked

Ugh, that's gross. D'; I don't blame you for washing your hands afterward.

There've been times where I've used the restroom and patients walked out without washing their hands. Even employees. That's so disgusting to me (and is also a pet peeve of mine).

Most businesses here are required to post signs in the restroom for people to wash their hands ... seriously, isn't that a given??? How do you NOT wash your hands after using the bathroom??
I even grab the paper towel to open the door after I have washed my hands.

CC : I do wipe down my work area with disinfectant wipes ( and my coworkers area because she doesn't) & with viruses prevalent right now we spray our lobby area with lysol. But since covid we are also required to keep a disinfectant log.
