I mean, it's one thing to take a short moment, but if you're sitting there longer than a minute and can't make up your mind, it's rather annoying. McDonalds has the menu on their site...

I'm just like.... "if you don't know what McDonalds has, hit up their site and look at the menu..... or go inside where you can look at the menu and let others order who comes in after you who knows what they want.

I hate going through a drive-through without knowing what I want. I have to look up on their site for the menu just to figure out what I want. I have to know.

its terrible to inconvenience others, but sometimes its just due to a lapse of carelessness or a series of unfortunate circumstances.

I usually order the same things so I don't even need to look at a menu. I love that the basic menu items are universal and always tastes the same!
