Like, we have NOTHING fun other than a park,

We had a choice between adding a skatepark or a pool.



They went with skatepark because companies complain about skateboarders on the sidewalk making noise? Idk, but they decided to do that.



All nearby pools/YMCA's are about half an hour away in neighboring towns.


Meanwhile, the only gym left is too small for a pool.

And the other one we used to have didn't have a pool. But they left because they wanted to go to a different state???? Idk either. But, eh, I want out of this town anyway.









Maaaaaaaaaany years ago, there was one. Things happened, poor condition, closed down.

I never went there.

wow, I don't know if I have ever heard of that before - a town with no pool - maybe I was just lucky that the places I live have had pools. Universities have had pools, high schools...community centers...that just blows my mind not having a pool.

It would be pretty funny to try and swim in the bathtub...we'd pretend that as kids...I meant just cool down in a shower or bath, not swim.
