Erasers...

Postby Fishy Zako » Tue Oct 27, 2015 12:15 pm

Has anyone ever actually finished them before? I keep losing them!

I am starting think completely using a eraser is just an urban legend.

I have definitely used entire erasers.
Both pencil top and hand erasers.

I have used up both of these types as well.
I love the little erasers that are in shapes, but they are harder to use. Nice to collect and look at though! ^_^

I'd take a picture and show you but there's nothing left to show. ;D
I keep one for each bag and one for my desk, and put them back wherever they are every time so I don't lose them. I also get pretty good quality erasers so they don't dry out and stop working before I can use them all.

I've used them down to the metal rim, does that count as all used up? I actually have tried to "dig" out what was below the rim in desperation.

You use the ones not attached to pencils down until they are just a nub, then you use the nub and roll it around on the paper until it is just black eraser dust and pencil led stuff. All gone.
And for ones that are in the pencils, sometimes I would pull them out before using them, then use them down to the nub, then roll the nub on the paper as I mentioned above. All gone.

the eraser ones that fit over the eraser always seem to pop off.... maybe the key is to not have to use the eraser...maybe thats why people glue cute little tails and eyes on the pink erasers, 'cause you don'y use them!

I collect those food erasers... they're not very good for actually erasing, lol. I've used pencils until they were about 2cm long, though! X'D Erasers always run off by themselves.

Well, what I learned is that it IS possible to finish off erasers... I can't believe.
But at least I'm not the only one losing them before they are used up!

Diana I try to keep them put away like that! But - but, they just keep running away to some unseen dimension! D:

Hm, never using the eraser? That sounds hard, unless you always scrap what you were writing and rewrite it...
But not using an eraser while drawing would be very difficult.

Mousy I agree with you completely. They have to be magic.

I don't really use them when I'm drawing traditionally, actually. haha. I just draw harder over whatever I didn't like.
They all get used up on homework.... I've gotten in trouble too much for crossing things out and my papers being super messy. haha :P
