Help me with my pet?

I just reeled in an Ursus Minor from the fishing pond and I honestly don't know what to do with it! I'm incubating it now but I have no idea what more I can do.... Should I buy food for it? Shampoo the egg?? IDK!

I would appreciate some advice! Thanks!

Congrats on your ursus minor! No need to shampoo or feed your egg as its still in its egg stage, but once you've incubated it to a high enough level it'll evolve into its baby stage!

Just keep on incubating it and it'll eventually evolve into its first stage of life (not counting the egg stage)

Your ursus bear should evolve at level 25.

Be careful, once it "hatches" you will be prompted to take the name suggested or type in your own name. You can not change it later so choose wisely! Although I was incubating 2 bears at the same time and did not realize they hatched and one ended up having the name chosen for it, which was bacon & I was ok with that. So...if you are incubating and it is close to level 25, give a pause before pressing incubate on the next one.

Once your pet hatches you will have to feed & play with it or it will die (about 3-5 days)...unless you give it an immortality potion. You can buy them in the Diamond shop for real currency OR a few members sell the diamond shop items for Windlyn currency...Ashton & Mouse presently I believe. I gift ONE immortality potion on your first pet.

You can have Cilencio Cerbera incubate your pets for you for feathers if you want. They will do pet sitting. If you have a hatched pet & no immortality potion then put your pets in the daycare if you are going to be gone for a considerable amount of time. They won't evolve but they will stay alive.

If your pet does die then you can revive it with a revival scroll from the diamond shop.

Is there a way to equip it or does it need to level up a bit more? So cute!

You can equip pets at any stage. They are usually in the Accessories or Background tab. The baby ursus in under Accessories > Hat.
