Event items?

So I'm getting this feeling that the fish bowls are event items since I can't seem to find them in the shops ^^;

you can find them by clicking on the penguins you might find floating around the forum.

You have the next 5 minutes to find a pengwing with it, they'll be in the shops after!
The pengwing's item is changing at that point as well.

So each time I catch a penguin I can buy an item in the shops?

Nope, they appear randomly, What Diana's saying is that the timer is almost up for the fishbowls, they'll be in the shop at 12:00 PST.

Every pengvving you catch has a chance of giving you either the event item[s] of the day or feathers. you have a daily limit of ten to catch. if you miss 'em the items vvill be in the shop the next day after they are vvith the pengvvings
