Kimmi x Mika 1 x 1 Rp: In Love with the Prince...

[Kimmi]

She shrugged,"I don't mind cooking every now and then. I use to cook for myself for the longest time anyway." She said, making just a simple grilled cheese sandwich,"And yeah I'm tired, but I gotta eat something." She was still a little worried about what would happen to her but for now she wanted to trust things would be alright.

[Mika]

"Well, if you insist on cooking your own food then I certainly cant stop you," Akira said lightly as he went over and grabbed some rolls and an apple from the counter and plopped himself down in a nearby chair. It was late, but he remembered stuffing himself earlier this morning in case he was unable to eat dinner again and he knew all he should probably eat was small stuff until the morning to equal it out. He began to crunch down on the apple and watched as Shayla finished cooking her grilled cheese sandwhich.

Shayla soon finished cooking and sat down at the table, taking a bite from her sandwich. She let out a soft yawn, obviously tired from the long day she had just had. She was thinking about a nice hot bath and then going to bed.

[Mika]

"So what do you plan on doing tomorrow," Akira asked as he bit into a roll and watched her yawn. He really didnt want tomorrow to come around... he knew he would have to go back to the meeting as well as explain his absence even if it really didnt matter whether or not he was there. He wished he could get into some adventure as he would always do with Shayla.

[Kimmi]

She shrugged,"Honestly I don't know." She admitted, eating her sandwich,"Probably the same thing I usually do: wait for you to not be so busy so we could hang out together." She finished her food and make sure things were cleaned up. She stretched, holding back another yawn,"I think I'll take a hot bath and head to bed." She said sleepily.

[Mika]

Akira watched her cleaning up what she had used and just took another bite out of his roll casuall, "Ah, I see..." he said, pondering off in thought. "Maybe I can get some spare time some time tomorrow evening..." He thought a little bit harder and sighed heavily, "They say that the princess I am to marry is supposed to arrive tomorrow around noon... So hopefully I wont get stuck with that all day." He stood up from his chair and went over to her as she yawned again, "I think that would be best though, you really should get some sleep, you seem very tired. I will escort you to your room."

[Kimmi]

Her heart sank at his words about the princess coming to visit. "There's no way you'll get to spare any time tomorrow with her coming here." She said as they walked,"Maybe tomorrow I'll just stay in bed or something. Unless you think I am required to meet her?" She sighed and rubbed her face. Running away was starting to sound good again.

[Mika]

//So, when i typed that up the other day, I had gotten the roleplays mixed up... lol, you shall have to make a princess before we get too much further. >.>;//

"Well... Im not positive actually... I mean... everyone considers you a pet so they might think its a bit strange... but at the same time... who knows what kind of customs that the princess comes from and she might think you are something other than a 'pet' and start a stink if I dont introduce you to her... which would be annoying... I wish I could just skip it... but then you would probably never see me for a few days," Akira shrugged and kept walking, thoughts of tomorrow getting him down. "I guess its really up to you though," he said glancing back.

[Kimmi]

She sighed,"I don't think I want to meet her." She said quietly,"I already know she's going to want me gone for whatever reason." She really didn't know what to do anymore. She wanted to leave, but really couldn't as she would miss Akira very much. But with this princess.... well...

[Mika]

"Hey now, You dont know that for sure," Akira said in a reassuring way. "After all, it has always been royal custom to have a 'pet' while you rule. I dont think it would be something she could brush off lightly. I mean, look at my father, he still has his 'pet' and I know my mother doesnt approve on him." Akira came to a stop, having reached the first door that would be his room, "Well, regardless, we cant currently do anything about this for now. All we can do is just play the stupid little game these nobles have planned for now. Its about time you got some rest though," he said, taking her into a small, but heartfelt embrace before he opened the door to his room.

She only nodded quietly before trudging into her room across the hall. She went in and quietly closed the door behind her. Soon noises could be heard from her bathroom as she drew a bath, having half hearted thoughts of drowning herself in the bath. She shoved the idea aside, being to cowardly to actually attempt such a thing and forced herself to think that things will get better.

Akira stepped into his room and closed the door, walking over to his bed as he undone his shirt and pants and slipped into comfortable sleeping trousers. He sat on his bed heavily and sighed, he really wasnt looking forward to tomorrow. What should I do...? he wondered to himself as he laid back in his bed and put his hands under his head on his pillow. His thoughts kept him well distracted until his eyelids closed and he drifted off into sleep.
