Pastrami wrote:I do watch it. I actually recently started it a few days ago. A friend of mine was here when the season 7 premier happened and I watched it with him. I liked it so much that I was watching it on Netflix on and off since then. I'm only 2 or 3 episodes into season 2 now. Fun fact, the part of Atlanta they were in in the first episode was very close to were I lived. You could see the Georgia State University (where I went to) signs in some scenes. The scene where you could see the sky line when he was going into Atlanta was also near this apartment complex I was thinking about moving into.

I really like the Scream and Nightmare on Elm Street series. I also like Fight Club, anything Disney, Pariah, Psycho, and others I can think of at the moment.

That's so cool about about where you lived! I keep wondering about the abandoned towns they shoot at. Are there a lot of abandoned towns and neighborhood down there? I keep thinking that they all can't be sets, but you never know!

I not a big horror fan, but I appreciate good filmmaking. I never saw any of the SCREAM series. Ooo, I am a big fan of Hitchcock. I'd been watching all of his movies in the last couple of years. PSYCHO was pretty crazy (pardon the pun!).

Diana is always quoting FIGHT CLUB. :)

Form what I read a lot of the locations were just areas near Atlanta. A little to the west, which I rarely go to (I stay towards the east). Some of the buildings used are actual buildings that I assume are still in use. Apparently a lot of the places are near Senoia, which is a place in Metro Atlanta. Apparently they filmed there for several seasons, at least up to season 5. I've never been to Senoia but it looks really pretty. According to the wiki, they used Senoia in place of Woodsbury, GA, which I haven't been to either.

In Georgia, we mainly have small towns but I can't think of too many abandoned things. Sure there are some abandoned buildings in the cities and in some towns but normally it's just a few number.

Yay Hitchcock. His films are pretty good from what I've seen even though I have only seen The Birds and Psycho. Those movies were beautifully shot so I need to look at them again.

Yay, points for Diana. That movie is sooooo good

welcome to Windlyn! Looks like you are finding your way around the site nicely but if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I believe you have until next week for the trick or treat items and the new background in the shop is amazing so save up for that for sure!

I am replacing my gardens with cacti and succulents since we live in a drought area and those seem to fare ok on little water. You mentioned you like cacti and succulents - do you grow them in pots or in the garden?

I am finding things alright so far. It's just a little slow but I'm sure it'll speed up. :v
Ahhh, then I definitely need to save up for it. I keep buying all the store items because I was thinking it was a store item too.

I keep mine in pots. That way during bad weather and winter I can bring them inside. So far they're all doing fine. I did have one of my succulents begin to rot because it got too much water from rain water leaking onto it from the roof of the porch. It's fine now which is good because it was my first plant. D:

the nice thing about succulents and cacti is that you can break off a piece and it is pretty well guaranteed to grow. Most of my plants are cuttings from just a couple that I had.
