Go to the forum's page and look under help and support and Diana has ALL the info on pets - or check out my It's a pet's life thread because i put some of the info there and have been posting images of the different stages.

Basically you incubate and then about level 10 it hatches and you have to start feeding and playing with your pet until they grow. The Windlyn beta takes the longest out of the beta fish to grow.

You can purchase other pets at the pet shop.
