Welcome!!

I've ridden horses like only twice before. It's very enjoyable!

Rose has been living a pretty long and happy life!

Pet sitting actually seems like a great option for those of us who can't have pets. Some people pay really well for pet sitting too but I think it would be a fun thing to do.

Hi ya, welcome to Windlyn.

It's great to meet another horse rider! Did you used to have your own horse or did you go to a school? I got back into horse riding in 2019 after a 10 year break. Then lockdowns happened and I haven't been for a year now with the schools being closed. I miss it so much.

By the way, feel free to pick a few past event items from my giveaway thread (link is in my signature).

Okay thank you.

Hey I love horses too. I recently graduated from my riding program and need to find a new instructor. I have been riding on and off since I was 11 years old and now I am 27.

Have you ever competed with your horses? I know a couple people who compete ...one does barrel racing/rodeo and travels the Country the other is on the elite side of dressage and has traveled the world. So expensive though, it is insane... but they are very passionate about their horses.

Woah, the fact that you are at a level to enter contests is amazing. I just like going out on hacks* and that's the extent of my horse riding.

* If hack is not a term used outside the UK, it means casual cross country riding.

Yeah we use it here. I have always wanted to try cross country jumping. I was not that good. I just did schooling shows.
