Space is a bit tight at the moment, so no pets for me. I would love to get a little silly snake though, or a gorgeous insect. Though, handling insects makes me nervous - I feel like they'd escape and sequester themselves away in some unreachable corner >_<

Ahh, time to play catch up since I took a few days away.

Gingerale I absolutely love honey! Plus different honey companies and types totally taste different to me. What kind of bees do you have over there? As for the event - gonna take a look after this! Power Gems I saw. As for the weekend - I didn't. I made some surprise plans last night to cook a very involved dinner tho and managed to do it in 2.5 hrs tho! I made cornbread muffins from scratch, cheesy spice fries, gravy, and fried chicken mmm. All while watching "Why Women Kill".

Today is a baking banana bread and muffins day. I'm addicted to using banana bread for French toast. Hngf. How about your weekend? What's a highlight from it? Also your avatar is super cuuuute.

silverberry Hiya and thank you so much! Ohh, I adore snakes. They're cool animals. Plus my kindergarten class got to help hold up this GIANT boa. It was massive. 4-6ft in length or something? Ever since I've found snakes cool, but I prefer deferring to others to handle them. I used to raise crickets for a horny toad we had - and you're totally right! Sometimes they'll jump away and poof who knows where?

Banana bread for french toast sounds very intriguing. Do you dip it in the egg & fry i? Or bake it?

Hah, yes IIRC we got the turtles for free when my grandfather bought a few goldfish or something. Of course with the free turtles, we had to buy the turtle tank. I think back now it was some kind of "door buster" promotion to get you to buy the more expensive thing!

The funny part is one never thinks of turtles being fast so them making a run for it without anyone noticing. I guess we were not very observant in my house!
