Be careful, if you do that your waist line won't be very happy. Unless they're tiny potatoes, then maybe you'll be ok.

heehee yes, have to watch that

I'm trying to make stew out of the tough steak I made ( before I saw your instructions to making a tender steak), added some potato's and veggies in there.

Steak is indeed beef! Least, generally it refers to beef.

Lemon Cheesecake Definitely look up how to make a tender steak. But let's see... I usually try to err on the side of everything seared on the outside but a little rare. Because overcooked makes beef kinda tough.

Also depends on what cut of beef you're using. Some beef is naturally tough. I dunno much bout stewing unfortunately.

Actually cooking the heck out of it in the stew made the meat very tender. I added lots of veggies for a healthy choice - that said I went and ate out for dinner and so will save it for tomorrow's food (unless I get hungry later).

Well, like, yes. Some cuts of meat are considered stew meat because that's what it takes to make them tender. Heeh, sounds yummy.

I like soups and stews. More my type of a wholesome meal. I spent a lot of time sick when I was little so maybe I equate comfort to soup?

Maybe, but also... soft super tender meat is just easier to eat and easier on the stomach.
