Do people fall asleep on the job like portrayed on tv and movies?

Is that legal to work those many hours? Do they let you have "sleep breaks" like hospital Doctor's are supposed to have?

still gruelling...that's more like a nursing schedule, except not as many days. If you work on the oil rigs or at the oil camps it is kind of like that too.

oil rigs doesn't particularly mean in the ocean - look at the oil fire this summer in northern Alberta near Fort McMurray

That sounds horrifying? I could never work in a place like that.

At night I work at a store selling liquor and in the afternoons I work in retail, but I guess there both retail?
The only reason I chose these jobs is because there isn't a dress code and I dress oddly so it was a priority when choosing a job!

Also yes! I take naps, me and my friend take turns napping underneath a table we use to write up the 50% off signs. We are both very small people. :grin_wink:

Ya, I got to enjoy the smoke since I live in that area, too far away to bother evacuating us however,Cold Lake for me.

I'm sorry - the photos I saw of it the smoke looked nasty and I have only had a little experience with forest fire smoke and it really permeates everything

We've had a forest fire in this area atleast twice a year since it has been incredibly dry lately. I've worked on the emergency services dispatching side on one.

As someone who visited forests often that upsets me I suppose.

Edit; I would collect feathers and little trinkets to make runes and such, also teas from the lavender I would find.
