some people have such beautiful skin tones without needing make up. I prefer to have a little tan to give myself color and not look so pale.

Personally I'd like it if my skin was a bit lighter :P

There's people with preference. Just don't do over tanning and less harsh chemicals to lighten skin. A more natural way. On the internet you see stories of people who do these things. The upkeep can be expensive. I just accept what my skin tone is now.

light skin tone can look nice but for the most part, to me -and perhaps because my skin is so pale - it looks sickly. If I have a slight tan then I feel like my skin looks healthier and then I can wear more colors of clothes (as in some colors make me look all washed out) as well.

I feel like the brightness of your skin doesn't affect the healthy look of it? You can be pale and still look super fit and not like a shut in.
Go get some sun?

Hm... I'm using some sort of skin brightener skin lightener thing. Not expensive, which might be a mistake, because that might be due to quality. It's a face wash, but idk if it even works because I'm usually too dead to pay attention in the mornings :P

My mom burst into my sister's room last night with her face red, yelling she was getting blind.
I got worried cos I thought she cried so hard until her whole body flushed, but it turns out she was just drinking wine lol.

Also, the reason why her vision got blurry was cos this face wash thing seeped into her eyes. The face wash thingy was given to her by my sister, who also got 'blinded' on several occasions when she used it.

Freaky what people put on their faces.

Whaat...? The face wash would make a person blind for a period? What the heck is that? Why would it do that?

I'm using Aveeno's postively radiant brightening cleanser and clean and clear's morning burst, and that's it. Nothing more than that. And I can use the brightening cleanser around my eyes without any problems really.

Well, Aveeno is the brand.

Positively Radiant is the line.

Brightening Cleanser is technically the item name I believe.

Here's the bottle

Eh... it's not really one of the fancy things. I've seen some fancy bottles. Like, the fancy glass ones. Yeesh.

I bought so many skincare products to see what works lol. The aveeno night cream in the natural line is greasy and had a fragrance. I'll tell you guy's what I am using now. I use aveeno natural clear complexion cleanser, neutrogena oil acne free cleanser or clear and clear continuous foaming cleanser or St. Ives clear complexion scrub , neutrogena grapefruit moisturizer with garnier clearly brightening moisturizer with spf 15. When I go to bed I use one of my cleanser, toner, L'Oreal age renewal night cream. So far the L'Oreal product is okay. I'm not sure if there's a difference by using it.

Hm... So... Cleansers you recommend are:
  • Aveeno - Natural Clear Complexion Cleanser
  • Neutrogena - Oil Acne Free Cleanser
  • Clean and Clear - Continuous Foaming Cleanser

Exfoliator recommended is: St. Ives - Clear Complexion Scrub

Mosturizers:
Neutrogena - Grapfruit Moisturizer
Garnier - Clearly Brightening Moisturizer SPF 15

And that's for the morning...?

Yeesh... stuff is complicated.
