Today's secret is that I finished the first of my two fishnet crochet sleeves, and now I secretly want to start a craft store (even though I can't take proper pictures with my phone).

that sounds painstakingly difficult...the crochet part

I think I take ok pictures with my phone until I go and look at them. Somehow tapping the screen to focus before taking the picture doesn't always work for me.

It's not that bad actually. Sure, it takes some time, but the pattern is easy enough so you can still do it while holding a conversation or watching tv. But I admit I've been procrastinating on the second sleeve so far.

If you are good with the crocheting you may want to consider selling your handy work... some people are willing to pay a very hefty price for hand made items.

I'll have to look into it. Right now I'm still learning, but it certainly would be nice to earn money with a craft hobby.

Here's a late welcome, but I hope you like it anyway...

Welcome to Windlyn,
I love your way with words,
Everyone's super kind,
Even to the nerds.

Welcome to Windlyn,
I hope we'll get along,
I think it'll be easy,
And I don't think I'm wrong.

Welcome to Windlyn,
Hope you find some things you love,
Like the wonderful people here,
There can never be enough.

Welcome to Windlyn,
I hope you'll enjoy your stay,
That you'll like it here,
And that you'll have a lovely day.

Me too.
A cup of tea and a good book, then you'll find me in my hammock. Except when it snows, because then I'd rather be outside. Winter is my favorite season.

I don't like tea, but I agree with the book part.
Also, I don't like going outside, at all.

I hate going outside in summer (unless it's into the garden with a book).
Much too hot for my personal taste, and even with sunscreen I burn easily. :embarassed:

I guess it also depends on where you live. Being Canadian, the Winters here are exceedingly cold. And I don't like the heat of summer either.
