It's been a while since I last visited an avatar community. A few years actually! I started to miss these types of communities so I decided to take a look around to see what was new in the avatar site world. Windlyn looks like such a nice place. I love all the work that has gone into it.

I realize Windlyn is in Beta but I hope everything turns out well for this site as it has lovely avatars. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone

I see by your helmet you have figured out the fishing pond, you can get some cool moon/space backgrounds from fishing - I love the meteor shower BG you can get from fishing.

Fishing items can be used in quests so hold on to your extra's.

Are you playing the games for extra feathers?

@Gingerale: Hi! Thank you! ^^ Yep, I found fishing! It's such a fun little feature. I love finding things like that on sites. Also, I haven't played any games yet but I plan to!

Honestly, I think my favorite thing is the fishing and questing. The avatars are what drew me in, but a playable site is really what makes me want to log back in again

@Lemon Cheesecake: Wow, thanks! That's very generous ^^ Hm my favorite color is green because I like having houseplants around me. But I love wearing all sorts of colors. Blue is nice. Hobbies.. house plants and Skyrim. I study a lot so I don't have many hobbies. I'm in grad school ;__; it's satisfying but oh so time-consuming.... I will be happy once I am graduated though! :3

Edit: Oh, and I have a fluffy tabby cat named Toby :3 he's sassy

Yep, Windlyn is in Beta and in no rush to get out into the real world. We may be low-key, but everyone is super-friendly!
