I think you implied you’re British? Isn’t it always raining, or is that just London?

I’m a clueless American, dumping tea in the harbor like uncultured swine.

Yeah, I'm British. :) It rains all over, particularly in Wales where I live.

Haha, I can see why they don't teach the American Revolution at our schools. The tea dumping is just shocking. :cheeky:

Who says the tea dumping ended?

I’m unsure if people here actually own kettles. My mom used to make iced tea by dumping teabags in a picter and refrigerating it. My parents do have special Chinese mugs to strain tea leaves, too.

Barbarians haha :cheeky:

Iced tea isn't really a thing here. Iced coffee is though. That's pretty cool that they have Chinese mugs to strain the leaves. I've not seen one before.

Here to destroy civilized society!

Really? Both tea and coffee can be intolerably hot. I can’t even drink hot chocolate. Cold chocolate isn’t a thing, of course, but I pretended chocolate milk was.

I have a kettle (actually a few), I have mugs with strainers, I have a french press that I make tea in and another I make coffee in, I have strainers of a variety of shapes and sizes.

Ice tea, sun tea, ice coffee, chocolate milk...hot or cold... strawberry milk,. orange milk...I'll drink them all!

MissAutumn: I learned on a documentary that Britons all moved to Wales when Britain was being invaded, thousands of years ago, and from what I gathered, you could say Wales is where the original ancestors of England can be found...even some of the dialects! Pretty amazing if you ask me! Original Britons were very mixed over the years by Romans and there armies from other countries, Saxons and Gaul's invaded as well.

Maybe my family dislikes beverages as well as reading!

And orange milk? That’s...interesting. Does it taste like those orange creamsicles?

That’s a fascinating tidbit about British history!

My mom once accidentally poured orange juice into my milk one morning. I drank it anyway. It tastes like milk and orange juice (I wish it tasted like a creamsicle!) The hardest part was getting over the pulp and cream texture combination.... :0

I saw a text post where someone once poured orange juice into a bowl and ate it like soup.

I didn’t like pulp in orange juice. The texture weirded me out.

I never knew that, Lemon. I know the royal family descend from the Welsh. Owen Tudor was father to Henry VII and grandfather of Henry VIII. They descend from Henry 8's sister, Margaret Tudor.

Orange and milk sounds like a horrible combo. Creamsicle form doesn't sound bad though.

I liked creamy foods. There was a hard cappuccino candy that somehow melted into creaminess that I really enjoyed.

Thank goodness I’ll probably have fruit tomorrow. I’m getting food cravings from this conversation.

My favorite dish used to be tomatoes and eggs! It may sound odd, but it’s fantastic.
