You can get a blue Ursus bear from the fishing pond. They take longer to hatch & evolve but are worth it.
Fishing is every 8 hours, Questing every 12 hours. 3 scores per game per day give you feahters.

I have no pets now but have had a cat, farm animals, fish, hamsters, bird and when very young a puppy...but he chewed the neighbors shoes so my Mom had to give him away.
How long did you horse back ride? I had a friend teach me to ride, though I ddi not ride often, they had cows and she would have to ride out to herd them up.

Some places will rent out horses for riding.
A heads up:
Spam threads only give out 1 feather but if you post in the other threads they give 3,5 or 10 feathers per post.
Buy Lazarus shop items first as they go off sale after the event and you might not be able to buy them again.

I've ridden a horse maybe once in my life when I was little, although, it wasn't really riding; I just sat up there while someone walked the horse around lol.
What are your favourite colours?

Each type of pet hatches at about the same level but each type of pet category has a different hatch level and commemorative pets a higher level from what I have seen.
There are some help guides that break it down better.
