My favorite food is sushi, weirdest things I've eaten are probably scorpions
I enjoy gaming, some streaming, and I am learning makeup!
I am absolutely heated about learning
best colors are pink, purple, silver, gold, and green
Anyone who can count in French can ask for my favorite joke but it's a bit wordy and a smidge niche
I can't live without my meds(literal but true!)

I will super gladly look around there, and thanks for the tip on how the fishing works! Getting a pet should be fun too, and I speak mostly English and French, some random bits of German and Chinese!

I had mine candied!
They were pretty tasteless, and pretty small. They are sold in the center of suckers at the Alamo gift shop ~

That very Alamo! I used to spend a lot of time in Texas, one day my Aunt was just like, "Wait this is your third month living here and you ain't seen the Alamo." So yeah full experience, ask away!

First question first:

Why scorpion candy? Are there a lot of scorpions around the Alamo? Is it a local thing or just a tourist trap kinda amusement?

OK, I've studied the Alamo in school during American History (just the facts, ma'am level), but have seen a few movies about it from Disney's Davey Crocket, John Wayne's version, the 1987 one with James Arness (Matt Dillon from Gunsmoke!), and the 2004 one with Dennis Quaid and Billy Bob Thorton. In each of the movies the size of the place varies quite a bit. Having been to a couple of historic sites, they always seem a LOT smaller than I imagined. I know a lot must have changed, but what is your take on what you saw?

Any idea how far it was located to the town? Or was it out in the frontier?

Last question (LOL): Is there a basement under the Alamo? Did you see it?

So, Scorpions are all over in that area. A lot of my friends and family from Texas and the surrounding parts of Mexico even talk about shaking their shoes outside when they wake up to check for shoe scorpions!

It's not very big, like it's both small for a historical site, AND small for a Catholic church.

It's located in San Antonio

And when I asked about the basement they yelled about how there was no basement

I've watched shows on the Alamo but have never been.
I check my shoes for spiders before putting them on but not sure I could handle scorpions! They are rare where I am.
