    Where is/how to questions are the most common in our guides. Please visit our guides and FAQ’s before adding a new post in this forum.
    • Newbie Guide/FAQ: If you do not see your question answered here, and you think it is related to being new, please ask it in the comments! We will add it to the guide. It will help us figure out what to add to the guide.

    If you don’t see your question answered in one of the guides above, and you don’t see a post anywhere in this forum about it, please post it!

Asking for support
    We want to help you get your questions answered and get you on your merry way as fast as we can! Here are some suggestions to help speed the procedure along:
    • Help us reduce clutter! If you see a post that asks your question, and it doesn’t have an answer that meets your satisfaction, please post your question as a comment in that thread.
    • Please do not use generic topic titles like "I need help" or "Getting an error". Remember, a descriptive title will attract much more attention than a generic one. :)
    • Please do not bump your topic unless a full 24 hours have passed since you got a response. There are a lot of users on Windlyn, and we sometimes get a lot on our plates. We try to answer questions in the order they were posted, so frequent bumping will only push you further away from help!
    • Be polite to users, staff, or any other volunteer helping answer your questions. Like in the real world, you’re more likely to get the help you want and need in the time you need it if you’re courteous when asking.

    For certain topics, you probably shouldn’t post in the help/support forum and should PM a moderator (user with blue usernames) instead. These topics include, but are not limited to:
    • You feel your topic was moved incorrectly.
    • You are having an issue with a particular member or group of members.
    • You think someone is cheating, scamming, hacking, or performing some other behaviour against Windlyn’s Rules and Terms of Service.

    Remember, if you're having an issue with a post, you can always report it by using the triangular '!' button in the header of any post.

Can anyone in the community answer questions?
    Absolutely! If you are browsing around Windlyn and see someone asking a question you know the answer to, please feel free to help them out!

    This isn’t a forum for feature requests, but your question may still turn into one! If it does, we may move your thread, or have you create a new one in the Site Feedback forum. If you know for a fact that your idea isn’t in windlyn, please make your thread in the feedback forum directly!
