Pets: A guide

Pets: A guide

Postby Diana » Sat Dec 03, 2016 12:04 pm

Getting Started:
Each pet will start as an egg. You can to incubate it to make it comfortable. Once it is comfortable enough, it will break out of its shell, and you will be able to name your new friend! Careful! A pet can only learn one name, so be sure to name it something you like!

After your pet has hatched, you will be able to play with, feed, and clean it. You can purchase items to interact with your pet from Bone Appetit Be sure to feed your pets or they will starve!

Going away for a while? Won’t be able to take care of your pets? The Day Care has your back! Check in your pets today!

Interacting with your pet one on one will increase your bond with it. Once it increases a certain amount, something special might happen!

How do I get a pet?
You can purchase a new egg at Creutair Coille. Alternatively, consider giving a lonely pet a loving new home and visit the pound to see a selection of creatures in need of adoption!

I’m too poor to take care of my pets!
Never fear! The citizens of Windlyn would never let a pet starve. You can bundle up your pets and go stand in line at the Kibble Kitchen. The Kibble Kitchen will feed your pets for free!

I really do not want my pet anymore.
If you find yourself to be a terrible owner, you can abandon your pet at the pound, and hope that it will find a better family.

This may seem like an overly obvious thing, but our pets can die, right? And then they go away forever unless you revive them?

So if I buy immortality potions for them, they won't ever be able to die?

That is correct!

Here's a breakdown of specialty items:
- Immortality Potion - Your pet will never die! Congrats! It can still age normally though.
- Fountain of Youth - You like your pet how it is? Time to stunt it's growth. With just a few drops from the Fountain of Youth, your pet will never grow any bigger. Watch out though, it can still starve!
- Revival Scroll - Your pet has died, what do you do? Let it rest? No! You bring it back!

You mean it depends on their personality? Coz my pets are all grumpy lol

and to be honest, it kinda bores me feeding/playing with them and seems like nothing is happening. Just a waste of feathers lol :cheeky:

No, the growth level depends on the pet species and colour.
You can always take your pet to the kibble kitchen or the hotel if you are tired of feeding them or cannot afford it!

If your pets leveled up instantly, you wouldn't really have the time to be able to enjoy them at each stage of their lives. Enjoy each moment as it comes! :)

Fiel : I ended up giving my pets immortality potions so they don't starve and still grow.

So there's no way to tell when my egg is going to hatch? I keep clicking the Incubate button. Is that all I'm supposed to do?

Tandy : the hatching times vary but I believe the ursus egg (like the one you have equipped) hatch at about level 25.
