Changing title?

So I know you can change a title in a thread. I was told how to but it doesn't give me the option: editing the first thread and changing it. All I can do is change the subject.

What do I do?

You change the subject of the very first post.

It won't change every subject in every reply, but I will show as your new title in the thread list.

ya, it won't change the title on the original threads but it will show up as the new one from then on and when it appears in "unread threads" it will be the new title. Editing the very first post is the only way I know of.

I got it, I just didn't know if the subject could change the title.
