I've been debating for a vvhile about doing one of those 'avatar edits' kind of threads for myself because I really love the avatars/bases here and I kind of vvanted to try my hand at doodling up some items and stuff on them but I didn't knovv if that'd be alright or not soo.. I'd love some opinions on the matter.

I'm not really sure what you mean about avatar edits, but if you want to doodle on the bases, go ahead!

Also, lime and I have been playing around with the idea of having some sort of design-an-item contest or something along those lines. We'd have to plan it a lot more, but just something to add into this.

uhhh on other sites most people call them avatar edits because you 'edit' the avatars but i prefer calling it doodling on the bases. x3 I might set up my 'gallery' and put up some stuff in a bit :3

Generally item design contests are just the concepts of the items not the actual items themselves. Like sketching them up rather than putting them out at site quality.

by drawing them to look like theyre sparkling?
a photo of a disco ball you can still tell its sparkling without movement

yes but that way requires quite a lot of detail to make it good sparkles?
