I guess we will have to either wash that salad good or cook the heck out of it!

Now you know why I inspect my food before I eat it...I had a friend who lost her vision to diabetes but she took a trip to India with a friend and I just remember her saying she was glad she couldn't see because there were often bugs in their rice.... and right then I decided I never want to go to a poverty area...or atleast eat the food there. Now some countries eat bugs on purpose... not for me!

I never want oatmeal raisin again after seeing that! ( and oatmeal raisin one of my favorites :worry: )

so, I guess it needs to be homemade from me from now on...just so that it is carefully inspected

I've sampled food before and spat it out! Some food should not be consumed - like blue cheese (remind me why we want to eat mold? My Mom and dad love strong cheeses. <shudder and gag>)

It's ok Bassy, without my glasses those cookies look kind of like cookies with pecans....from a distance.

There is a .000000000000000000001% chance that ever in your life time that you will eat roaches as raisins. In America, we don't eat bugs, or any other countries that don't. I hear that Asian countries do though.

Doh! I think I once saw that in one country, they grind up dried roaches to make a roach flour and bake with it! So you may not even recognize the roaches in your raisin cookie! :)
