well, it depends on what you are hatching...most eggs hatch at 10 and then evolve at various levels

you can hold them up to the light and see if you see anything, MUr - like they do for chicken eggs - that might work ~

actually, on a farm you check the eggs and hatch the ones with baby chicks in them and cook the ones that don't

I remember when my friends used to refuse to eat yolks because they thought they were the chicks.
Me: its not the chick just eat it
Friend: nooo! its yellow like the chick!
Me: just because its the same colour.....
Friend: it is! i know its the chick!
