You guys sound like such great teachers! I don't know if I'd still be here if it weren't for the kindness of teachers and librarians.

That's so good to hear! I don't think I'd have become a teacher if it weren't for the fantastic ones I had while growing up. I loved my teachers because they weren't just interested in my academics, but about my whole being. I hope I can get across to my students that I love them and that they are so much more than a grade on a paper.

If you are talking to me, please ping or quote me. I get distracted and lose track of what I'm doing easily.

Mousy: I know! D: I can't stand it.
If I could, I'd take in so many of my students and make sure they get treated right. It literally tears my heart apart. All I can do is hope they get through school and do something with their life. It's not easy getting through everything on your own. :c

I Shall Engrave: Oh goodness.
That's why they tell us to give to someone else to read before handing papers out. xD

Turtle Sensei: Well, I appreciate it! Q ___ Q <3
I agree! I wouldn't be where I was now if it wasn't for all the amazing (and some not so amazing) teachers that I've had.

In high school I had a chemistry teacher who addressed every one of his students as "worm" until someone squealed on him and he had to stop. He also kept a python named Julius Squeezer.

I had one that would give the best grades to the athletes.
(I was an athlete too, but not in his sport)
It didn't really bother me because I made good grades anyway.
But one day, a few of his athletes cheated off of my test and they got A's and I got a B.
I'm not still bitter or anything...
bastard.

couldnt you report him?
sports arent really school focused in australia
like we would have swimming sports day where the whole school would walk to the pool centre and a few people would compete and an athletics day, same thing but at a large oval
but that only happens once a year

I had a biology teacher that was obsessed with Bill Bye the Science Guy and made us watch it each week. And I got extra credit for being the only girl willing to dissect a pig fetus. Lol he also gave me $20 to lick a slug...

I'll be dissecting a fetal pig next semester! Also sheep organs. I'm really excited.

Excellent... Excellent!
Let my babies confuse the world!
Goodness knows they confuse me everyday. xD

I don't think I have any funny stories today, but I do have a weird feeling.

One of my worst behaved students was absent today. We had a great day in class, but she is hardly EVER absent. I get vibes that not everything is okay with her, but I have nothing else to go on except for vibes. She gives me the most trouble and is one of the most hateful students I have, but I get so worried when she's absent that something is wrong. UGH. Even though she gives me so much trouble, I hope she's there tomorrow.
