pluto = deathstar ... mirror images? hmm, imagination takes off...

Ok the " how big is space" blows my mind - space blows my mind, I can not fathom, can not comprehend, can not conceptualize our galaxy in comparison to the beyond.

I am so glad Pluto is standing on its own and proving people wrong... yes, more pictures! need more pictures!

Maro, I agree - I can't wait to see what photos come back as the probe goes further into the space "we know" about and beyond into the "unknown"

Space is huge and awesome. Last I checked something like that, the number of planets estimated in the Universe is: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

So it always makes me laugh when people say "There's only life on Earth! You're all crazy!"

You mean to tell me that that many planets don't have life on them? And 1 does? ;)

Now who's talkin' crazy!

I went out and looked at the blue moon, except it was only blue around the circumference

Lime: Now they have found a "sister" planet that looks like it can sustain life like Earth... hopefully they've done a better job of protecting their planet then we have

My dad and I were talking about that just last night!

It was kinda sad, actually. We were talking about whether people really deserved to find a new planet or not. ;(

Considering how bad we mucked this one up..

I missed the blue moon though! Ack. I meant to see it, but I was working on stuff all night and it completely slipped my mind.

I think the next blue moon is 2016...not that far away. Next year is a leap year, wonder if that makes a difference?

I wanted to go out and look at the meteor shower tonight but the sky is clouded over!

Has any one been able to go out and see the meteor shower? The peak is suppose to be 100 an hour - that's a lot of wishes!! How many "falling stars" can you see?

I heard it's tonight by me. I might not be able to see it well in my area but I'd like to try anyway! It's been a long time since I saw one. I still love looking for the first star at night <3
