I am not a fan of candy corn either. They came out with Christmas Candy Corn and it all just looks wrong. >.>

Christmas candy corn? It better not taste like peppermint like all other Christmas candy.

Some peppermint flavoring just reminds me of medicine flavor. But for some reason candy corn is addicting, the first few pieces are meh but if you keep eating it the taste seems to get better and soon the whole bag is gone!

Everything is PUMPKIN in the stores! Cookies, coffee, cake, ice cream, pancakes - CEREAL even!

I've roasted my own. I do my best to grow pumpkins now. We didn't get a good harvest this year, cause of the drought, rain, drought cycle. But we got enough to snack on~

Silverfire: when you carve out the pumpkin the seeds just seem a clumpy mess...is there an easy way to "clean" them up before roasting? How long do you roast them for? Would a dehydrator work or is it better to roast them in the oven?

the vast majority of the millions and millions and millions [etc] pumpkins purchased every year are not used for eating but for decorations.

The best I've ever done was a generic spoopy face, my parents didn't want me waving around a knife lol... also, pumpkins are expensive here.
