things could always be worse!

I was in the Dr's office today and there was a lady with no legs past her knees, half an arm and the other arm the fingers on her hand was stubs. Made we appreciate the movement I have and that atleast physical therapy is helping where as she can never stand on her own two feet again.

It sucks the world isn't adapted to disabled people.

yeah, i was just wondering what kind of accident could cause so much damage.
ive been in a minor car accident before (both in and out the car lol)
and honestly the worst ive ever come off with is just a broken arm.

i cant imagine losing my limbs. @_@
something very horrifying i heard of, recently (on imgur) - is when a fast food worker dipped her gloved hand into the deep oil fryer to pick up her dropped glove.
first day of work--- had to be sent to the hospital after being degloved. dont google degloved, you don't want to see that.

ugh. ok, thanks for the warning. There is a rumor that a Dr. clipped a nerve during a routine procedure and someone lost their limbs - but that hasn't been officially confirmed. Some diseases are debilitating enough that body parts have to be amputated. I wasn't about to ask her what happened to her! I shouldn't have been ease dropping anyway! ...the office reception room was small....
