3 Positive Things of the Day

1. Even though I didn't not find any places for my household to relocate to today, I did find that I can rent rooms listed on Facebook affordably where I will be attending graduate school. Rent for the apartments in the school's city is over $1,000 for 1 bedrooms/1 bath units. That alone will take most of the loan I took out for my living expenses (my tuition is waived, and I get a small stipend that is paid via my asistantship). The on-campus options for the institution were filled long before I was able to register for their housing- there is only a waitlist for upperclassmen. Not only that, but those options cost over $700 and up a month. Although I haven't read much into these rooms for rent, I've seen some as low as around $400. I could save so much money at those prices.

2. I'm doing fine.

3. I still have some money.

2. It was foggy in the morning but then the clouds cleared & it was a beautiful afternoon!
3. The day actually felt normal.

1. my brother came by for a visit, and that was pretty fun.

2. turned a frozen cheese pizza into a veggie lover's with added cheddar! it was really good.

3. did some laundry and my sheets are very soft and comfortable. it makes me sleepy, lol.

I had a light day at work.
I had an ice cream before work and a coworker gave me some Timbits during work.
I saw a chipmunk when I got home.

1. caught my cat chewing on the broom in the closet (i keep putting it up and everybody else keeps putting it back on ground level) and it made me laugh, because he was hunched over and gnawing on it like some kind of goblin. xD

2. watched a game stream on twitch that made me laugh.

3. listened to a music playlist that helped put me in a better mood for a while.

What are Timbits?

Went in later for work so got to sleep in.
Lighter day at work so got some stuff caught up and not so tired when I got home.
Watched the cutest little baby quail, they huddled together waiting for their Mom to come back and then snuggled next to her for awhile as they sat in the sun. I tried getting some pics but it was through the window screen.

Oh yeah, Tim Horton's is a Canadian thing I think. Timbits are like doughnuts, but they're small balls with no hole. They're quite good.

Talked to my boss about the people who've been bullying me recently and she was very supportive.
Was given earbuds, granola bars, and Girl Guide cookies by my boss.
Talked to my mom about getting merch from my favourite YouTubers

also, i hope the people who have been bullying you were disciplined!

Yeah, they were spoken to. And one was fired for different reasons, though the bullying was also a strike against him. My boss says the other will be fired soon, too.

Thanks. Younger me would not have spoken up. I'd probably have gotten angry and gotten in trouble back then. So this is a good step. Also the other one quit. They were going to fire him after one of the other workers had finished vacation, but he quit.

I don't know much about plants, but I'm glad you're enjoying it. That's good. That's also good.

My dad bought a bunch of goodies.
Not technically today, but I watched the Sonic movie and actually enjoyed it.
