Don't forget the meteor shower tonight, 8/12 & 8/13:
"The best viewing hours are from midnight to just before dawn—though the first sparkles may appear as early as 10 p.m. regardless of your time zone."

It sounds like, from what I read, predawn is the best time to view.

I checked three various times & didn't see anything either. But then I only looked for about 5 minutes each time.
