that sounds very scary to me because I know sometimes over here we go through a cloud of pollen and start having drippy nose, hoarse throat and tough time breathing quite quickly.

Snow in Hawaii!
"Winter has arrived on the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, where snow began accumulating overnight with up to a foot expected"

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/hawaii-snow ... r-warning/

Isn't Mauna Loa the company that packages the macadamia nuts and chocolates?

The asthma-causing thunderstorm sounds awful, and people died from it Ryvvi? :(

Snow in Hawaii sounds like better news.

If the asthma pollen storms are real I wonder if they have been happening through history and if a sudden case of illness or people dying after a thunderstorm has ever been recorded.

thanks dragoness! If you come up with some believe it or not's you can post them too! I found some other gross ones that I think I will postpone posting, sometimes I get myself a little too squeamish. I'll have to find some other fun fact ones.

"While individual dinosaur-era feathers have been found in amber, and evidence for feathered dinosaurs is captured in fossil impressions, this is the first time that scientists are able to clearly associate well-preserved feathers with a dinosaur,"

That's so crazy!! I've always heard that the chicken is the closest living relative to the T-rex.
I wonder, what will they do with all the dinosaurs in museums now that they realize they had feathers?

Or how all of the dinosaur movies will seem inaccurate now. They'll have to rename Jurasic Park to Poultry Park! :cheer:

Poultry Park instead of Jurassic Park? Yes, I like that one. Since the feathers were so light it sounds to me like they were running around like plucked chickens.
