All I know is , we will NOT see it here on the west coast.

Comet coming should be able to be seen for about a month with binoculars, best time is between March 31 & April 21... it comes every 71 years so the only time you will see it in your lifetime.

geo magnetic solar flare going on right now.

Supposedly makes beautiful aurora borealis, not sure if it is impacting our satellite usage.

Yup, I think the solar flares come in 11 year cycles and this one is rated a level four compared to the level one they usually are ...don't know what that means for us being bombarded but I believe it mainly hits the magnetism at the Earth's poles ...hence the aurora borealis display.
